Our  2019  Program

Stepping Out

March 2019 saw our first 2019 play, a comedy by Richard Harris.

This is a warm and funny play which is an endearing tale of how friendship, camaraderie, and sheer determination can shape a group of mismatched beginners into proud performers in an amateur tap class.

Stepping Out Reviews

Great play last night.  Sadly I was sitting too far back to hear all the jokes, but the ones I did hear were really good and very well delivered. Full use of the stage was excellent....high energy....lots of movement and interaction....and changes of clothes...How did they do that so quickly!!!???.....very credible class variety and format......Loved the development of the great variety of characters.....and the lovely uplifting positive BIG surprise at the end......really it's an important message...how we are all doing our best...and doing REALLY WELL!!!.....against huge odds...and it's marvellous how we can put on such a good show against so much stacked against us.....loved the awareness, patience and compassion towards each other that developed within the class.....the teacher was EXCELLENT!... Next time I'll book early to get better seats. ...Hope next time you put on at least SIX performances...and make a LOT more money! after such a huge investment of time and effort. Of course sound and lighting were perfect!!

Highly recommended, you all just keep getting better and better can’t wait till the next one. Congratulations to everybody
